At Whitfield Plumbing & Heating we have always invested in apprenticeships since we began trading in 2013. The owner George Whitfield started his career off as Plumbers Apprentice and over the last 10 years we have had the privilege to train 4 successful apprentices to become fully qualified Plumbers within our organisation.

The apprenticeship rate of pay is £7.55 per hour. You would spend 1 day per week at college studying towards an NVQ qualification and 4 days per week working alongside one of the Whitfield team. The training & skillset we have on offer is second to none and we will give you everything you need to become a fully qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer within our business. Progression for further qualifications such as: Gas Safe, LPG, Oftec Oil, Electrical & FGAS Air Conditioning/Heat Pumps can be offered to our successful candidates and once qualified you could be offered a full time position & your own Whitfield van.

What are we are looking for?
-5 GCSE’s C Grade or above including Maths & English
-Hardworking & motivated to succeed
-Good communication skills
-Full driving or motorbike license

Why train with us?
-4 days per week specialist one on one training covering all domestic plumbing, heating & gas situations, boiler installations, basic electrical training and bathroom installations
-1 day per week at college completing NVQ Plumbing & Heating or Gas Safe qualification (depending on experience)
-Once qualified we offer a highly paid secure job with a starting salary of £30K-£50K per year with a company van & tools provided
-You would be working amongst a fantastic team who would be helping develop your skills and turn you into a highly respected multi skilled Plumbing & Heating engineer
